Aquarium Fish Return Program Benefits Kaua‘i Ecosystems

Conservationists rolled out a new program yesterday to help keep imported marine life inside aquariums — and out of local waters. Three island locations will now take unwanted fish and aquatic plants. Read the following two articles to get the details.

"Pet owners should drop off aquarium pets at pet retailers; consider giving or trading with another pet owner, pond owner or water gardener; donate pets and plants to a classroom or aquarium society; seal aquatic plants in plastic bags and dispose; or drop them off at the following locations on Oahu."
